A company is looking for a Medical Billing Account Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Review billing cycle for accuracy and document patient calls
• Organize incoming data and manage EDI enrollments
• Send appeals correspondence and print claims for carriers/patients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Athena
• At least 1 year of experience in medical billing or relevant internship
• Basic knowledge of healthcare claims and payers
• Associates degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Must be a US resident
