PE Licensed Substation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation Civil/Structural Engineer to provide technical support and direction for their Substation Design Team in a remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for substation engineering and consulting services
• Create civil and structural design deliverables for electric substation projects
• Lead and mentor teams of engineers and designers, ensuring project success

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 7+ years of related experience for Senior Engineer I, 10+ years for Senior Engineer II, and 15+ years for Senior Engineer III, with PE required for Senior Engineer III
• Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer registration strongly preferred
• Experience with structural design and relevant software such as STAAD or RISA
• Ability to work effectively with remote team members and manage multiple complex assignments
