Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder III (Medical Coding).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records to identify principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures
• Assign codes based on coding guidelines and federal regulations
• Provide education and support to physicians for accurate documentation and coding

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required
• One of the following coding certifications is required: CPC, CRC, or RHIT
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
• Experience with encoder software and EMR systems
