Principal Engineer - Linux

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer - Sensor, Linux (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for product and roadmap decisions regarding the Linux sensor
• Conduct architecture and design reviews for key platform features within the Linux sensor
• Mentor senior engineers and engage with the upstream Linux kernel community on relevant issues

Required Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of low-level Linux internals
• Strong experience with C and/or C++
• Experience designing and implementing complex, performant, and highly concurrent systems
• Ability to operate efficiently in a remote, highly distributed work environment
• 10+ years of experience in Linux systems programming, preferably close to or in the kernel
