Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel to provide legal support for mortgage and consumer credit products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage legal, regulatory, and product issues related to mortgage/HELOC financial products
• Provide legal advice on debt collection, privacy, consumer credit compliance, and solar financing
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of legal experience, preferably in mortgage lending or fintech
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Experience advising on legal and regulatory consumer credit lending issues
• Ability to manage a heavy workload in high-pressure environments
• Preferred experience with mortgage/HELOC products and related legal issues
