Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their Finance and Accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily client trust activity and maintain client trust files
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare monthly financial statements and schedules
• Assist with interim and year-end audits, prepare schedules, and provide information to auditors

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years' experience in general ledger/financial reporting, preferably in a law firm or professional services organization
• Public accounting or audit experience preferred
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including data manipulation, advanced formulas, pivot tables, vlookups)
