State Licensed Associate Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Actuary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cross-market actuarial support for Medicaid markets, including analysis, pricing, and risk assessment
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure soundness of bid assumptions and support negotiations with State or Federal agencies
  • Present actuarial results and trends to management and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation or equivalent international certification
  • Minimum of two years of relevant actuarial experience
  • Strong technical skills, including data manipulation and Excel model building
  • Experience in Medicaid markets is highly preferred
