Support Engineer for Data Integration

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Informatica/Java/Kafka Support Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 and 3 support for data and backend systems using Informatica, Java, and Kafka
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures, Kafka streaming issues, and Java-based application errors
• Monitor and maintain Kafka clusters, ensuring optimal performance and uptime

Required Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter: ETL development, workflow debugging, and optimization
• Proficiency in Java, especially for backend application support and debugging
• Solid hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including topic creation, performance tuning, and monitoring
• Good understanding of SQL and database optimization (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix commands and scripting using Shell or Python
