Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Director of Social Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervises program managers and project leaders while fostering a positive work environment
• Plans and directs the operations of social services programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and evaluating program effectiveness
• Participates in recruitment and selection processes, and serves on various committees and task forces

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or related experience in Human Services
• Considerable experience in human services programs, including case plan management and supervision
• Must meet the eligibility requirements of the County's safe driver policy and be willing to travel occasionally
• Experience in developing and implementing social services programs is preferred
• Possession of a BSW or MSW degree and a Commonwealth of Virginia Social Worker license is desirable
