Workers' Compensation Recovery Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Recovery Representative - Workers' Compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of lower to moderate exposure subrogation claims, ensuring prompt recoveries and effective claim cost containment
• Conduct detailed investigations to identify responsible parties, gather evidence, and negotiate recoveries
• Maintain accurate claim files and follow up on recovery actions while assisting in training modules for workers compensation adjusters

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• At least two years of related work experience in workers compensation recovery; experience as a workers compensation adjuster is a plus
• Knowledge of insurance contracts, statutory and common law, and relevant state statutes
• Strong technological capabilities, including proficiency in Excel and claims software systems
• Ability to manage time effectively and work proactively in a remote environment
