This role is perfectly suited to a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the complexities of sourcing candidates across borders and time zones. You’ll be engaging with high-quality professionals in roles such as Industrial Designers, Product Designers, Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Engineering Managers, Technical Directors/VPs, and C-suite leaders (e.g. Chief Product, Technical or Design Officers). Key Responsibilities
- International Talent Sourcing
Identify and engage candidates across global markets, particularly within technical and design-focused industries. - Candidate Qualification & Vetting
Conduct comprehensive initial screenings to assess each candidate’s qualifications, motivations, and cultural fit. - Shortlisting
Present a curated shortlist of 3–5 strong candidates per vacancy, tailored to client requirements and expectations. - Market Mapping
Research and document candidate landscapes for specialist roles in industrial design, engineering, and consumer tech. - Database Management
Ensure all candidate records are kept up to date and accurately reflect communication and screening status. - Client Briefing Support
Attend client calls when possible to gain a deeper understanding of role requirements and hiring goals. - Admin & Operational Support
Assist with tasks such as booking interviews, updating recruitment systems, formatting CVs, chasing client feedback, and submitting expenses — especially during UK off-hours. - Long-Term Growth

Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Sourcing & Engagement: Identify and map out candidate markets within industrial design, mechanical engineering, consumer tech, and healthcare.
- Candidate Vetting: Conduct initial screenings, assess qualifications, motivations, and suitability for roles.
- Shortlisting: Present a curated list of 3-5 high-quality candidates per role for review.
- Database Management: Keep candidate records updated to streamline recruitment operations.
- Client Briefing Support: Where possible, participate in client discussions to understand role requirements better.
- Administrative Support: Assist with booking meetings, updating expenses, sending CVs, and chasing clients to assist in managing tasks typically handled outside regular working hours.
- Long-Term Growth: Over time, take on more responsibility in managing roles independently and growing within the business.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in resourcing, talent acquisition, or recruitment support.
- Minimum
- Strong understanding of industrial design, mechanical engineering, or technical recruitment (preferred but not essential).
- Experience in sourcing high-calibre candidates across international markets.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems, and other sourcing tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of sourcing strategies.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a laptop.
28000 Rand basic salary plus a lucrative commission structure
