Purchasing Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist in managing purchase orders, vendor relations, and inventory levels to ensure the smooth operation of our purchasing process. You will play a crucial role in supporting the purchasing team by researching products, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and processing purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate with vendors to verify pricing, availability, and shipping details.
• Track and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and timely replenishment.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and new products.
• Assist in resolving any issues related to orders, deliveries, or returns.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities and inventory status.

• Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in using spreadsheets and purchasing software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes is a plus.
