About the team + role

The TradePMR team within Robinhood empowers financial professionals with innovative technology and unparalleled support tailored to the unique needs of the RIA community. The trading team's mission is to deliver efficient and accurate trade support to our clients while offering our signature personalized service.

As Trading Associate, you will work within a tight-knit, highly collaborative team to provide Registered Investment Advisors with trade support for various product types (equities, bonds, options, etc.) and process trade related advisor requests.

What you’ll do

  • Order Management: You will accept orders from advisors and account holders, ensuring accurate and timely processing of trades.
  • Trade Support and Error Correction: You will assist advisors and their staff with navigating the trading platform, provide trade support during order entry, and help correct trade errors when requested.
  • Service Request Processing: You will handle trading-related service requests at the account level, ensuring all requests are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Client and Advisor Interaction: You will provide accurate and complete information to advisor and client inquiries, maintaining compliance with policies and procedures, and serve as a liaison between advisors and various entities such as the clearing firm, fixed income desks, and vendors.

What you bring

  • FINRA SIE and Series 7 Licenses
  • Organizational Skills: You are expected to have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Professional Communication: You should demonstrate a professional demeanor in both verbal and written communication, ensuring clear and effective interactions with advisors, clients, and team members.
  • Confidentiality: You must have the ability to maintain confidentiality, safeguarding sensitive information and adhering to compliance policies and procedures.
  • Operational Experience: You are expected to have back-office operational experience, preferably in the financial or banking industry, to effectively manage trade orders and service requests.
  • Technical Proficiency and Team Collaboration: You should possess comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and have the ability to collaborate effectively in a high-paced, team environment, contributing to the overall success of the trading team.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
