R&D Project Manager

We are seeking an innovative and driven R&D Project Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects that align to RVT's strategic goals. Including the introduction of new products, upgrades and integrations with the Monitoring Platform ensuring project delivery is within approved timelines and budgets

You will facilitate collaboration among engineers, designers, and stakeholders to drive innovation. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans for approved R&D initiatives
• Collaborate with the R&D Director and relevant stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, deliverables, budgets.
• Develop and monitor project plans, timelines, and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
• Oversee R&D projects from conceptualisation through to completion, ensuring alignment with RVT's strategic goals.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure product viability and market readiness.
• Oversee the integration of new and upgraded products into RVT’s Monitoring Platform, working closely with Operations and Commercial teams.
• Manage product improvement projects to address quality issues, breakdowns, and additional features.
• Collaborate with technical sales staff to ensure products are understood and ready for sale.
• Conduct thorough research to assess feasibility and market trends, leveraging insights to inform product development.
• Facilitate regular updates with stakeholders to communicate progress, risks, and solutions for delays or challenges.
• Work closely with Product owners to refine agree specifications (scope) and ensure project delivery facilitates a smooth onboarding (product launch) phase with correct documentation and support.
• Manage relationships with external partners, suppliers, and consultants as needed to enhance project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Product Development, or a related field. (E)
• 5+ years of experience in project management within an R&D environment. (E)
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex R&D projects from inception to launch. (E)
• Strong understanding of product development processes, from ideation through commercialization. (E)
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2). (E)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. (E)
• Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think critically and creatively. (E)
• Experience in working with regulatory compliance in product development (D)
