We are dedicated to delivering excellence and fostering innovation, and we are seeking a proactive Client Learning Specialist to design and develop engaging and effective product e-learning experiences for our clients.
About the role
As a Client Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding and fulfilling client learning needs so they can maximize value from their Rystad Energy solutions. You will be a key player in our newly setup client education team, working closely with subject matter experts and client-facing teams to ensure the timely delivery of e-learning videos, hands-on modules, learning paths, and documentation that support the achievement of strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and identify clients' learning needs based on usage trends, support inquiries, new product releases as well as through conversations with client-facing teams.
- Design impactful and engaging e-learning experiences that facilitate clients' onboarding, adoption, and mastery of Rystad Energy products, aligning with business objectives and adult learning principles.
- Develop high-quality learning content, including videos, text lessons, hands-on modules and entire learning paths, using authoring tools like HourOne, Veed, Wistia, Canva.
- Publish and configure learning content on the Learning Management System (ThoughtIndustries), ensuring seamless user experience and accessibility.
- Assess the business impact of learning programs using relevant learning and performance metrics, such as learner engagement, knowledge gain, and behavioral change, to inform future design decisions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and get hands-on with Rystad Energy products to inform the design of learning experiences that accurately reflect the capabilities and applications of the products and meet client needs.
- Design and develop use case-based learning experiences that reflect real-world challenges and workflows, enabling clients to develop practical skills and apply theoretical knowledge in a realistic and engaging way.
- Ensure the technical infrastructure supporting learning delivery is scalable, reliable, and secure, by staying current with industry trends, evaluating new tools and platforms, and implementing best practices to optimize the learning technology stack.

Qualifications
- Strong history of understanding and applying instructional design principles and models, learning theories and adult learning principles (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, scaffolding).
- Experience in analyzing learning needs and designing engaging e-learning and blended learning experiences.
- Proficiency in video editing or authoring tools such as HourOne, Veed, Canva, Wistia or other industry-standard tools.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS). Familiarity with ThoughtIndustries is a plus.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS (desirable).
- Familiarity with the energy industry (desirable).
