The Giants Business Analytics department was officially established as an internal service group at the start of 2019. Since then, the group has been dedicated to building a data infrastructure, developing reports, driving fan research, fostering a data-driven culture and providing analytic and strategic support to partners across the business. About the Role:
The Business Analyst plays a vital role in driving data-driven decision-making by developing insightful reports, crafting impactful data visualizations, conducting strategic analyses, and refining business processes. This individual will contribute to the organization’s objectives by leveraging data and analytics to deliver actionable insights and optimize operational efficiency.

· Develop a deep understanding of the organization’s business strategies, objectives, and challenges to deliver meaningful, timely insights and recommendations.
· Design and maintain user-friendly, customizable Tableau dashboards and data visualizations tailored to various stakeholders.
· Utilize data analytics to create and optimize business processes, including implementing alerts and triggers to enhance operational efficiency.
· Collaborate effectively within the Analytics team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities.
· Provide data-driven recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Management, Statistics, or a related field.
· A minimum of one year of experience in analytics, strategic investigation, or related disciplines.
· Familiarity with Giants' data technologies, structures, and organizational context (preferred).
· Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other analytical tools.
· Experience with data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, SQL-based databases, and ETL software like Matillion.
· Expertise in visualization and business intelligence tools, including Tableau and Looker, with a solid understanding of dashboard best practices.
· Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as SQL or Python, or other applicable languages relevant to analytic tasks.
· Strong ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
· A proactive, project-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks effectively.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively and align cross-functional efforts.
