About the Role:The Giants Community Fund is looking for a Fundraising & Events Intern, where you will have the unique opportunity to facilitate ballpark fundraising through the 50/50 Raffle and Community Clubhouse that make our youth-serving programs possible.  From managing team members to coordinating online auctions, you’ll work closely with multiple departments at the Giants, including Ballpark Operations, Community Relations, Ticket Office and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to balance different types of projects and work in a collaborative setting as both a leader and a team player. This role reports to the Fundraising and Events Coordinator and assists in management of 50/50 Raffle Team Members and the duration of this internship will be from March through October 2025. This position will be located in our beautiful ballpark headquarters at 24 Willie Mays Plaza in San Francisco. 


You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because… 

You will partner with the Fundraising & Events Coordinator to assist with gameday duties of the Giants Community Fund’s largest seasonal fundraiser, the 50/50 Raffle.On select games, you will manage and oversee team members who will be selling 50/50 Raffle tickets at Oracle Park (weekend & weeknight work required).You will aid the Development Assistant with greeting winners and processing winner's paperwork.You will lead Team Member recruitment, hiring, scheduling and training.You will manage supplies and ordering for the raffle.You will create and analyze Excel and Google spreadsheets of 50/50 Raffle seller statistics to track and improve sales.You will play a key role in facilitating online auctions for the Giants Community Fund by procuring items, completing item descriptions and photos, fulfillment and posting items in coordination with MLB.You will provide guidance and oversight to fundraising ventures at Oracle Park (Mystery Grab Bags and Mystery Baseballs) and volunteer management.You will coordinate the assembly and sales of Mystery Grab Bags and Mystery Baseballs (weekend & weeknight work required).You will provide assistance on Giants Community Fund events throughout the season including the Play Ball Lunch, Willie McCovey Golf Classic and other events as needed.You will be a working member of the Development Committee.You will have a unique ability to earn trust and collaborate with different people and departments in both the Giants Community Fund and San Francisco Giants organizations.
