Overview  

This role is responsible for leading program management support and project planning integral for a business organization in the healthcare industry.  Experience with program/project management driving solutions to delivery, ideally in the healthcare industry is important to be successful in this role. This position is remote, primarily working EST hours.  

 

Responsibilities & Duties  

  • Executive communications – create compelling and quality power point presentations with quick turn around  
  • Create and deliver executive strategy, planning, and roadmap documents in collaboration with executive team   
  • Consolidate plans and content from across various departments into meaningful, informative points of view  
  • Program management – ability to understand program and workstream project plans and dig into all work areas as an active and engaged team member  
  • Display informed judgement and a sense of urgency in meeting objectives and matters of significance  

Desired Skills and Qualifications  

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in consulting and/or program management ideally with a focus on operational improvements with a healthcare insurer or healthcare system 
  • Industry experience in Healthcare Insurance or Healthcare Systems 
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, PPT and MS Project is required 
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder, and project management skills  
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with all levels of stakeholders including C level management  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ambiguous and at times, high-pressure environment  
  • Works with a sense of urgency to accomplish tasks and facilitate desired outcomes  
  • Ability to think analytically, process information quickly, presenting it in a succinct and insightful format suitable for executives  
  • Expert Power Point skills in creating executive level presentations is necessary  
  • Proven experience in executive communication  

 

Education/Certifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience is required 
  • MBA is preferred  

Compensation

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a 6 month+ contract engagement with an hourly rate of $75-$85. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
