As a Licensed Veterinary Technician in Integrative & Rehabilitative Medicine at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center in New York City, you will play a crucial role in our Rehabilitation Therapy Unit, providing specialized care to pets who are recovering from various ailments. Your work will be diverse and fulfilling, involving everything from conducting rehabilitation treatments like hot/cold packing and ultrasound to assisting in client communications about patient progress. To thrive in this position, you’ll need a valid NYS Veterinary Technician's license and the ability to handle various species of animals. While a passion for pets is essential, physical capability is equally important; you should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and need flexibility in your schedule for weekends and holidays. Our team prioritizes collaboration, but working independently and taking initiative will also be part of your daily routine.
