The Opportunity 

Location: Bielefeld, German Office / Flexible within Germany

Are you passionate about driving brand visibility and sales performance in the outdoor industry? We're looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team and coordinate and drive the implementation of trade marketing plans across direct markets, with a key focus on DACH. 

As a seasoned Trade Marketing Specialist, you will be the bridge between our brand strategy and the consumer experience at the point of sale. You’ll play a key role in developing and executing impactful trade marketing plans across outdoor retail and e-retail channels. Working closely with retail, marketing and sales teams, you’ll help bring our brand to life in-store and online, ensuring consistent and compelling brand presence in a competitive marketplace. 

📍Please note: This is a field-based role and will require frequent travel across the DACH region and other direct markets.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate & execute Trade Marketing Plans aligned with global brand regional and global direction. 
  • Increase product sell-out and brand visibility by optimising POS materials, promotions, in-store displays, and digital campaigns. 
  • Collaborate with sales teams to tailor marketing activities for key accounts and ensure maximum ROI. 
  • Coordinate events and trade shows to promote brand engagement, generate leads, and boost awareness. 
  • Monitor and track trade marketing spend across direct markets to ensure accurate forecasting and alignment with budget guidelines.
  • Serve as local liaison with the EMEA Marketing team to ensure localization of assets and activities for DACH 

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred 
  • 3–5 years of trade marketing experience, ideally within the outdoor, lifestyle, or consumer goods industry. 
  • Proven track record in the German-speaking market (DACH) and familiarity with European retail environments. 
  • Experience with omni-channel strategies and digital marketing tactics. 

Key Skills & Competencies: 

  • Deep understanding of point-of-sale marketing, in-store promotions, and merchandising. 
  • Commercial mindset with strong retail and sales affinity. 
  • Ability to interpret market data and consumer insights to shape marketing plans. 
  • Excellent communication skills in German (native) and English (fluent). 
  • Strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.
