Account Manager – Remodel Services

The Account Manager for remodels develops professional relationships with key customer roles within the remodel and reflow processes, Project Service Managers, Retail Operations, and People Operations to drive sales through service execution of Remodel projects for customers and customer vendors. This role coordinates project information and is responsible for delivering key information to various departments in the company (Project Managers, Retail Operations) and a strong and executable plan. They will proactively assess and clarify customer needs so that they can deliver on those expectations with the necessary information and planning. This will allow Retail Operations to execute plans successfully at the individual store level.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Meijer Project Team and all impacted third party vendors
  • Meets with key project stakeholders to develop project plan and coordinate retail support
  • Develop project scope and pricing to support project
  • Develop project timelines from start to completion
  • Organize, attend, and manage project planning/progress meetings
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, maintain scope, and are completed within budget
  • Forecast and track key metrics with analytics team
  • Work with Analytics team to report and mange metrics
  • Identify new growth opportunities that offer alignment with service platform and Retail Operations capabilities
  • Assist in meeting Annual Plan goals and objectives
  • Create, document & refine best practices to support plan goals, ensure consistent information is being supplied
  • Investigate and assist in the resolution of issues for each area relating to project completion
  • Constantly review progress, celebrate achievements, and revise to eliminate negatives
  • Understand and fully implement best practices for delivering detailed information  
  • Embrace the use of technology to enable better communication and decision making
  • In coordination with Serv-U Sales, build and maintain strong relationships with Meijer management, with the goal of great communication and a better alignment of SUS capabilities with customer expectations

  • Defined Sales objectives- Period and Annual
  • SubItUp Project and Tasks objectives
  • Margin objectives for Project Bids
  • Delivery and Accuracy of Project Planning Information
  • Communication and analysis of key metrics


Desired Education, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related education & experience required
  • 3-5 years in a sales and service industry, with a demonstrated track record of success building high performance teams and providing consistent results in the areas quality, efficiency, within budget
  • General understanding of construction impact on project scope - building/demo of gondolas, flooring, electrical, and refrigeration
  • Strong desire to lead and work with people to help them achieve to their potential
  • Results oriented. Organized & methodical.  Embrace learning and change
  • Desire to work in a team-oriented environment, with respect for all team members
  • Ability to communicate effectively, write legibly, follow directions
  • Strong analytically
  • Able to analyze data and activities and quickly determine opportunities for improvement and develop a game plan for implementation


$57,000 - $66,650 a year
