Housekeeping

At Shearer’s Foods, we believe that cleanliness is the cornerstone of quality. As a Housekeeping Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our plant operates smoothly and safely, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain production and non-production areas in pristine condition, following the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
• Use industrial power-washing equipment, chemicals, and other tools to clean manufacturing equipment thoroughly.
• Keep detailed records and sanitation cleaning logs to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Support additional cleaning tasks, including office areas, hallways, locker rooms, break rooms, and outdoor grounds.
• Perform snow removal and other seasonal maintenance tasks as needed.
• Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.

What You Bring:

• Prior experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial services is a plus.
• Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to high temperatures, fumes, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise levels.
• Ability to operate forklifts and scissor lifts (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
