National Account Manager (Club/ Natural)

Location: Remote - preference for large US city (close to large airport).

Job Summary

This position works on the fast paced and growing Club & Natural Team, closely with the Team Lead for the channel , the internal cross-functional teams and the customer (BJ,s Costco regional buying offices, Amazon, Whole Foods Market, etc.). This role is responsible for managing the relationships with current and new buyers, selling in new programs, overseeing/ managing the current sales and day-to-day operational activities for our current business, identifying opportunities and managing internal projects from idea to launch.

Your Seat at the Table:

  • Managing buyer relationships
    • Costco region buyers, BJ’s, Amazon, Whole Foods Market, etc.  (Subject to change)
  • Selling
    • Work with buyers regularly to incorporate feedback on which items to present.
    • Present regularly with to all buyers on capabilities, innovation, new item opportunities.
    • Build presentation material.
    • Work with buyers and internal cross functional teams to successfully implement and leverage promotional opportunities.
  • Project Support
    • Assist with internal project approvals, support pricing/ quoting work and assist with project management for new item launches with internal cross functional teams
    • Lead and monitor new item launches, from idea to sell in to launch.
  • Admin Duties
    • Order support
    • Forecasting support
    • Provide Deduction support
    • New product and ongoing paperwork support – new item paperwork, merchandising paperwork, pricing paperwork, etc.
    • Retail Audit support
    • Other reporting support as needed
  • Other administrative duties as required
  • Additional sales support as needed

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferable analytical/business related) and 5-8 years related club specific sales experience.  Preference for food sales and/ or private label selling experience.

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Driver’s License is required
  • Clear communicator
  • Must be detail oriented, able to manage complexity, lead/ support projects with a large number of cross functional team members
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to prioritize initiatives and balance daily tasks
  • Must possess a strong sense of urgency
  • Customer expert and advocate
  • Proficient in Windows Office
  • Proficient in Syndicated data systems
    • AC Nielsen or IRI

*Remote role.  Preference for large US city location.
