In 2009 the office in Amsterdam was opened, which is now situated at the 28th floor of the Rembrandt Tower with a great view on the city of Amsterdam. We focus on the following sectors: Energy & Utilities, Financial Services, Marketing & Customer Experience, Data Science and HR, Transformation & Change. The Dutch team is experiencing strong growth and has now built up an impressive client portfolio, supported by and cooperating with colleagues from our international offices. Sia Netherlands employs approximately 55 consultants.

As a Senior Consultant in Data Science, you will be involved in transformation projects for our clients. You will execute project assignments in modeling and digital transformation (business/IT analysis and partial coding) environments with a good deal of business perspectives, focusing on Life Sciences:

• Machine learning, AI, and statistics: developing predictive models of decision making (supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, econometrics, forecasting, quantitative diagnosis,...)
• Operational research: assistance in the design and implementation of constraint optimization solutions and simulation models
• Big Data: Algorithmic knowledge for large and unstructured data processing

As part of your role, your main tasks will be:

• To propose analytical strategies aligned with Business needs to address the challenges of our clients;
• To identify and anticipate the technical risks associated with the analytical approach;
• To take an active part in the exchanges with the customer and to be an actor of the project, from its framing to the presentation of the results;
• To develop Sia's activities on Data Science applied to Life Sciences.

In addition to your role as Senior AI & Data Scientist (advanced analytics/machine learning) in the project teams, you will also contribute to the evolution of skills and know-how within the company and actively participate in technology watch in order to anticipate technical and commercial opportunities.

• You have successfully completed your Master’s Degree. (Civil Engineer, Applied mathematics, IT, or similar)
• You have 2-6 years experience as a consultant.
• Outstanding team player and good communication skills.
• Strong interest and previous experience(s) in Data Science applied to Life Sciences.
• Analytical mind, exploring options and able to synthesize into conclusions.
• Autonomous, dynamic, result-oriented, rigorous, and committed.
• Bilingual: Dutch and English. French is considerd a plus.
• Prepared to participate in temporary assignments abroad.
