Support & Maintenance Engineer

Join SICE Pty Ltd as a Support & Maintenance Engineer and play a critical role in the ongoing preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring, and continuous upgrading of the Operation Management and Control Systems (OMCS) for various infrastructure projects. This position requires a hands-on approach and collaboration with internal teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of systems in operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of OMCS and Integrated Operation Management and Control Systems (IOMCS) in operation.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and operators for efficient management of the systems.
• Investigate and rectify issues and defects in the systems using SICE’s Service Management tool.
• Perform root cause analysis of complex problems impacting PLC and sub-systems.
• Assist with the implementation and testing of SICE projects under the support & maintenance scope.
• Manage the installation and deployment of new software releases.
• Perform regression testing for system or application upgrades.
• Create and update internal documentation, protocols, and procedures for system maintenance.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in support and maintenance roles within technology systems.
• SQL Certification or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Windows environments and basic skills in Windows administration.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) or similar Service Management tools is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• ITIL Certification and knowledge of PLC systems are a plus.
