In-House Counsel (Healthcare)

Position Summary:

We seek an experienced In-House Counsel with a strong healthcare law background to provide legal counsel and support, focusing on healthcare-specific matters. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Advise on federal and state healthcare regulations (HIPAA, Stark, Anti-Kickback, False Claims Act, Medicare/Medicaid, licensing).
• Draft and negotiate healthcare agreements (provider, managed care, vendor).
• Develop and implement corporate healthcare compliance policies.
• Advise on risk management and mitigation.
• Manage healthcare-related litigation and investigations.
• Stay updated on healthcare law changes and advise accordingly.
• Collaborate with external counsel.
• Provide legal training on healthcare compliance.
• Assist with corporate governance and strategic transactions.
• Employment Law & Workforce Oversight
• Perform other legal duties.

Qualifications:

• JD degree, bar admission (California Required).
• 3-5 + years healthcare law experience required (in-house or law firm).
• Deep understanding of healthcare regulations.
• Proven experience drafting healthcare agreements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• High ethical standards and commitment to compliance.
• Experience with healthcare compliance programs and risk management.

Pay: $175,000 + Bonus
