Senior Generative AI Customer Engineer

Job Description:

SmartRep is seeking an experienced Senior Generative AI Customer Engineer to join our team. As a senior member of our team, you will lead the design, implementation, and delivery of custom Generative AI solutions tailored to our clients' unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Deliver Custom Solutions: Work closely with clients to design and implement cutting-edge Generative AI solutions, ensuring scalability and alignment with business objectives.
• Client Engagement: Maintain continuous communication with clients to understand their pain points, gather feedback, and provide exceptional support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Project Management: Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring successful execution and high client satisfaction.
• Technology Innovation: Identify emerging technologies and trends in Generative AI, and incorporate them into SmartRep's existing solutions to maintain a competitive edge.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales team to align project goals and ensure seamless delivery.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day:

• Host meetings with clients to gather requirements and brainstorm potential AI-driven solutions.
• Develop and customize generative AI models to meet specific client use cases, leveraging tools like Vertex AI and RASA.
• Ensure smooth execution of projects and alignment with SmartRep’s strategic goals.
• Research and experiment with the latest generative AI technologies to keep SmartRep’s offerings ahead of the curve.
• Provide updates and demos to clients, incorporating their feedback into the solution development process.
• Create detailed and compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and draft tailored proposals for prospective clients.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML roles, with a focus on Generative AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Proven expertise with large language models (e.g., GPT, BERT) and frameworks like RASA and Vertex AI.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with data preprocessing, model training, and fine-tuning techniques.
• Experience managing complex AI projects, from inception to delivery.
• Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and designing AI solutions to enhance customer experience.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
