Job Description

We are seeking a Pricing & Data Analyst Intern for Summer 2025 to assist in analyzing pricing data, costs, and market trends. This role will focus on supporting the pricing team with data gathering, cost analysis for service contracts and products, and helping to identify margin improvement opportunities. The intern will gain hands-on experience working with real-world business data and contribute to projects that impact pricing strategy.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • The selected intern will work with a Corporate Strategy Analyst (or Supervisor) and will:

    • Collect and organize pricing and cost data from internal systems.
    • Assist in analyzing service contract and product costs to understand regional differences.
    • Support the team in developing reports and visualizations to track pricing trends.
    • Conduct basic competitor pricing research.
    • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities through data analysis.
    • Present findings in a clear and concise manner to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education: Degree-track undergraduate or graduate student in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience:  Experience with data analysis projects or a previous internship preferred.

Knowledge skills/other attributes:

  • Sound communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Inquisitiveness and a desire to learn and apply new-found knowledge
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Motivated, focused, proactive, and results-oriented
  • Microsoft Office software suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • SQL, R, Python
  • Understanding of how to break down costs (COGS, service costs, etc.) and assess profitability.
  • Data interpretation and attention to detail
  • US Citizen preferred; ability to pass a background check and security vetting required

The compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 - $35.00/hr and will vary depending on factors including level of school completed and type of position requirements for skills, whether technical or non-technical.  We are committed to ensuring our interns are fairly compensated for their valuable contributions.
