Job Summary: 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to oversee and optimize daily manufacturing operations in our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure production processes run efficiently, meet safety standards, and achieve quality objectives while leading a motivated team. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan, organize, and manage production schedules to meet company targets and customer demands. 
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies. 
• Monitor workflow, processes, and resources to achieve operational excellence and efficiency. 
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Analyze production data and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs. (e.g., lean manufacturing, Six Sigma).
• Maintain quality standards by ensuring products meet specifications and conducting regular quality checks.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all machinery and equipment are functioning properly. 
• Manage inventory of raw materials and coordinate supply chain needs with purchasing teams. Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or factory environment, including computer software expertise and skills (g. proficient in Microsoft Excel/PPT/Word, typing words-per-minute >40)
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proven background of working with your team members within your team, peers, team members of those peers in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in production management software and tools.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other efficient methods is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (both spoken and written)
