Director of Analytics

[solidcore] is looking for a Director of Analytics to join our HQ team and lead our analytics function. This role will shape our data strategy, ensuring we leverage our data assets to drive growth and competitive advantage. Collaborating with Senior Leadership and cross-functional teams, the Director of Analytics will drive data-driven decision-making across [solidcore], leveraging data insights to guide high-impact business decisions. 

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and business acumen with expertise in SQL, Tableau, and Python, plus proven experience implementing advanced modeling techniques. They should demonstrate a track record of transforming data insights into actionable business strategies.

Located in Arlington, VA and reporting to the Vice President of Strategy & Insights, this is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, investor-backed organization that is a leader in the studio fitness space.

• Analytics Strategy: Define and implement the strategy for analytics at [solidcore] that aligns with business objectives, building out key insights that help drive decision making. 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership and digital teams to align data initiatives with business priorities while maintaining data integrity and accessibility.
• Customer Insights and Segmentation: Develop deep customer insights through data analysis, including customer segmentation, lifecycle analysis, customer journeys, and predictive modeling. Identify key customer segments and their behaviors to support personalized marketing strategies.
• Reporting and KPIs: Define and oversee key metrics related to customer engagement, retention, lifetime value, and acquisition. Build and maintain dashboards to track performance and provide actionable insights.
• Enhance Infrastructure: Partner with IT teams to improve data pipelines, tooling, and infrastructure, enabling efficient experimentation and analysis at scale.
• Drive AI Innovation, advanced analytics and modeling: Implement machine learning algorithms and techniques, to address challenges like predictive analytics, personalization and to drive efficiencies.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Business, or a related field. A Master’s Degree or MBA is preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in customer or client analytics, with a focus on consumer retail, brick and mortar, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, Python, or R. Familiarity with CRM platforms, data visualization, and statistical analysis
• Communication and Influencing Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights for diverse audiences.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and work cross-functionally.
• Customer-Centric Focus: Passion for understanding customer behavior and driving customer-centric strategies that enhance the customer experience and support business objectives.
