The Marketing Manager in Italy will be responsible for developing and implementing Spotify’s consumer marketing strategy in the country. The role will report into the Marketing Lead for Southern Europe.
We seek a person proficient in Italian and English, with experience in brand storytelling, social media, creative planning/execution and media buying, preferably in a global company.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at collaborating across complementary teams and is deeply committed to crafting culturally resonant initiatives for young music fans to propel Spotify’s business in the country. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the Global Marketing Team, Music, PR, Growth and Podcasts, to craft campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences and align with our brand vision and KPIs.
What You'll Do- Develop and implement a comprehensive consumer marketing strategy to achieve business and brand objectives, focusing on establishing Spotify at the forefront of youth culture and growing our brand equity in Italy.
- Implement exciting campaigns across ATL & Digital Media channels by crafting sharp briefs & closely working with external & internal partners.
- Ensure all marketing activity resonates locally, but is representative of our global brand.
- Lead Spotify’s social media presence in Italy from developing the content plan, handling approvals, coordinating with different stakeholders and tracking performance of our Italian brand channels
- Analyze marketing performance metrics to measure ROI and optimize campaigns based on our KPIs.
- Stay informed of industry trends, emerging platforms, and audience behavior to adapt strategies as needed.
Who You Are- A ‘roll up the sleeves’ self-starter with 4+ years of proven experience working in consumer marketing, brand management or agency experience.
- An organized person with project management skills who can work well in an unstructured and fast-paced environment.
- You love entertainment and consume incredible amounts of content. You are up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing.
- Natural propensity to think creatively and innovatively, with a sense of aesthetics and a love for excellent copy and witty communication.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills both in Italian and English is a requirement. A good level of Spanish is considered a plus.
- You have experience with social media channels (paid and organic). And experience in campaign planning (including media planning and creative development).
- You are a great teammate that can easily collaborate with cross functional, cross-regional teams, and understand how to drive consensus.
- Preferably, you have experience working in a global company within the tech / media space
Where You'll Be- This role is based in Milan, Italy.
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in at least 2-3 times per week.
