As the Staff Machine Learning Engineer for the DISCO Product Area, you will work with a cross-functional team to define and execute the Machine Learning technical strategy for the product area while working closely with a team of Engineering Managers, Staff and Senior Staff Engineers, who, with a team of dedicated engineers, will build on the momentum of Discovery Mode to enable artists and their teams to find new listeners when it matters most. Since launching in late 2020, Discovery Mode has quickly become an essential marketing tool for the music industry. This is a high-profile and strategic area for the company that will help artists grow their audiences and help grow Spotify’s core business.
The United States base range for this position is $215,000 - $307,000 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance. These ranges may be modified in the future.
