We are looking for an exceptional individual to build and lead our Client Solutions (Professional Services) team’s Center of Excellence (CoE), to empower our teams, partners, and clients with the knowledge, processes, and tools to implement and train on our solutions effectively. With executive sponsorship and cross-functional alignment, the Center of Excellence will become a cornerstone of our implementation excellence strategy.


This role entails driving capabilities building and development for our Implementation Specialists (IS), Solution Architects (SA), and Project Management (PM) roles, including Team Leads (TL). Note that these roles are managed on a day to day basis by our Client Solutions’ Project Portfolios, outside of the CoE.

Under the CoE, this person will lead our Project Management Office (PMO), and our Training and Enablement for employees, clients, and partners.


This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead and manage high-impact and high visibility (ELT and Board level) projects, and contribute to the overall success of our software solutions and clients.  This leader will play a key role in driving strategic and transformative initiatives across Client Solutions and SpryPoint that help our team to scale effectively and efficiently while delivering remarkable client experiences and exceptional performance and results. 



What You'll Do:
  • Developing and running comprehensive training and enablement programs that reduce ramp time required for new team members and drive industry, product, implementation, and business process knowledge and skills.
  • Delivering standard product training to clients at the beginning of implementations, and to employees and partners.
  • Developing and rolling out product and implementation certifications.
  • Creating professional training content and courses where applicable for our employees, partners, and clients.  SpryPoint Solution training will be both product and process/role based.
  • Responsible for SpryPoint’s Living Lab, a real world environment operating and demonstrating our solutions.
  • Continuously evaluating, enhancing, and improving IS, SA, PM, and TL processes and methodologies to drive quality, efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.
  • Supporting IS, SA, and PM team leaders on client projects within the portfolios.
  • Partnering with People Ops to develop career paths, competency models, and performance management criteria for IS, SA, PM, and TL team members.
  • Managing and teaming with the PMO Leader responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, optimizing project management processes, and driving project governance, operational excellence, and consistency across our delivery portfolios. 
  • Standing up and establishing the physical CoE in Atlanta, GA.
  • Supporting hiring of quality candidates for Client Solutions organization.


What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience building a CoE supporting Professional Services within an enterprise B2B software company.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in training and enablement leadership roles, within a professional services organization inside an enterprise B2B software company.  
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and frameworks (e.g., PMBOK).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving results and delivering high-impact projects and initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management software (LMS), Knowledge Management software such as Confluence, project management software tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Kantata, or similar platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Utility experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Willing to travel up to 20%.
