Job Description

At our client, we craft custom, data-driven healthcare marketing strategies based on our clients’ unique needs & goals. This personalized marketing allows us to target the right patients at the right time.
The client is looking for a smart SEO expert with the mind of a growth marketer to help optimize our growing list of clients' sites and help drive traffic and leads in a HIPAA-compliant way. This position will be responsible for planning, creating, and optimizing pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns. In this role, you should be well-versed in SEM and familiar with SEO best practices. You’ll partner with the COO and Project Managers to execute various strategies to deliver a transformational experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fun group of people in Sioux Falls, SD.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 25% REPORTING, 35% SEO, 20% SALES/AUDITS, 10% DIGITAL ADS, 5% ADMIN, 5% TRAINING (APPROXIMATELY)
  • Drive and execute marketing strategies using the client Hub and other platforms (includes email campaigns, landing pages, lead generation, and more)
  • Conduct competitor research for the client and all clients
  • Optimize on-page web content to match searcher intent and improve rankings (SEO & AIO)
  • Perform in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities and drive content strategy
  • Conduct technical SEO audits, provide recommendations, make any edits you can make
  • Provide recommendations to improve traffic, engagement, and conversions
  • Strategize on and implement creative link-building opportunities
  • Identify and execute growth marketing opportunities
  • Track, measure, and analyze website performance, make suggestions for improvement
  • Leverage other channels like social media and email to drive organic growth

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly reports and strategy recommendations regarding website performance, lead conversion, social and ad performance
  • Meet with clients to discuss reports, ongoing initiatives, and strategies
  • Implement technical SEO tactics as is recommended in the monthly reporting
  • Develop and implement comprehensive PPC strategies, including search, display, and Performance Max
  • Plan, create, and manage PPC campaigns, including Google and Microsoft
  • Keyword research and management to optimize bids (add PPC keywords and negative keywords)
  • Advanced Google Ads strategies, including attribution modeling, retargeting, and remarketing campaign setup
  • Perform daily account management of PPC campaigns (review ad spend budget, maintain Quality Score, impression share, and other important metrics)
  • Optimize campaigns to improve conversion rates and return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Monitor, evaluate, and present the performance of campaigns by generating weekly and monthly performance reports, analyzing trends, goals, opportunities, and other key performance indicators
  • Develop and implement retargeting campaigns to increase ad spend effectiveness
  • Utilize advanced reporting to track and analyze campaign performance and ROI
  • Establish metrics and KPIs and utilize A/B testing to optimize campaign performance
  • Analyze website traffic and user behavior to identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in SEO, PPC, and educate team members as needed

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS ARE ENCOURAGED:

  • Ability to write compelling ad copy
  • Experience running conversion optimization tests
  • UX/UI testing experience
  • Experience with WordPress programming
  • Ability to manage on-site and off-site team members in all aspects of web development, including but not limited to UI/UX, site map, wireframe, programming, technical SEO, and launch
  • Marketing automation and email marketing software experience, specifically HubSpot (Marketo, Pardot, SharpSpring, SalesForce experience a plus)
  • Familiarity with ADA/WCAG best practices
  • Ambition to be a leader in your area of expertise

REQUIRED COMMUNICATION/MATHEMATICAL/REASONING SKILLS:

  • Must possess the required level of skills and abilities to read, write, speak, and apply mathematical concepts and sound reasoning to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job
  • Must be able to perform advanced operations on a computer within the Windows operating system and Adobe design products
  • This position requires problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to multi-task

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • We are open to remote, in-office, and hybrid work situations. Some work may be completed from home or other locations occasionally.
  • Client meetings will be performed in person, via Zoom or other electronic means, phone, and/or email.
  • Flexibility is a benefit of working at the client and is directly correlated to work being completed on time and with quality.

Technical Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of SEO experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on PPC experience
  • Experience with SEMRush or Ahrefs, Google Analytics/G4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and Screaming Frog
  • Technical SEO expertise (crawling, indexation, canonicalization, page speed, etc.)
  • Experience running SEO experiments
  • Knowledgeable about HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge about website hosting
  • Google Ads Certification
  • Experience using Google Tag Manager
  • Experience launching social media ad campaigns
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong project management abilities
  • Creativity, team player, and willingness to constantly learn and grow
