About the role

As an Operations Associate, you’ll be at the heart of Stuf’s day-to-day success, ensuring our locations run seamlessly and customers have an exceptional experience. In this hands-on role, you’ll oversee facility operations, problem-solve on the fly, and help shape the future of modern self-storage. From managing facility upkeep to delivering exceptional customer service, you’ll play a key role in elevating our brand and keeping our spaces operating at the highest standard.

Additionally, you will support our hyperlocal marketing and sales initiatives, ensuring each launch is a success. As our on-the-ground champion, you’ll coordinate local activations, engage with the community, and ensure every detail is flawlessly executed.

Responsibilities

• Own Facility Excellence: Ensure our self-storage locations meet Stuf’s best-in-class standards for cleanliness, security, and overall experience.
• Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: Guide renters through the storage process, answer questions, and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy.
• Keep Operations Running Smoothly: Manage inventory, track key operational metrics, and support ongoing process improvements.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing and other team members to support on-the-ground initiatives and enhance the customer journey.
• Drive Successful Launches: Play a hands-on role in executing hyperlocal marketing and sales initiatives during lease-up. Ensure the seamless rollout of marketing campaigns, content creation, community engagement, and brand-building efforts. 
• Ensure Compliance & Efficiency: Enforce company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while optimizing workflows.

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-oriented operations role, preferably in self-storage or other businesses rooted in physical space.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment with the ability to remain calm under pressure. 
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency in G Suite and CRM tools; experience analyzing data and generating reports is a bonus.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating cross-functionally.

• $55,000 annual base salary; compensation ultimately dependent on the depth and relevance of prior experience
