Corporate Events Associate (contract, internships available)

Substance is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Events Associate to join our team on a contract basis or as an intern. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of corporate events, where you will assist in planning, organizing, and executing high-impact online and offline events that enhance brand presence and foster client relationships.

As a Corporate Events Associate, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless execution of events while developing your skills in project management and event marketing. If you have a passion for events and are eager to learn in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of corporate events, including conferences, product launches, and client meetings.
• Support the promotion of events through email campaigns, social media posts, and content creation.
• Manage event registration and attendee communication, ensuring a positive experience for all participants.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to align event strategies with business objectives.
• Gather feedback after events to analyze success and identify areas for improvement.
• Research industry trends and best practices to contribute innovative ideas for future events.

Qualifications:

• Current undergraduate or graduate student in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Strong interest in corporate events and prior experience in event planning is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced setting.
