Videographer and Editor

Lights. Camera. Purpose.

Do you have an eye for storytelling and a passion for creating powerful, meaningful content? Do you want to be part of a bold, mission-driven team changing the face of family law? Summit Family Law is hiring a Videographer & Content Creator to help us bring powerful stories to life across social media, video podcasts, and more.

This is not your typical in-house media job. You'll be crafting content that inspires, educates, and empowers—working directly with our CEO, lawyers, and team to help clients and others find hope, strength, and clarity.

What you’ll do:

  • Shoot and edit engaging short-form video content for social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Travel monthly to Huntsville to film on-site with our team
  • Capture bold, real-life action photos for daily content rotation
  • Film and edit video podcast episodes
  • Help shape the voice of a law firm making a national impact

The ideal candidate is a YouTube expert with a track record of success on the platform, from growing channels to crafting high-performing content. You know YouTube inside and out — the trends, the algorithms, the audience — and you have the wins to prove it.

  • Produce and direct three YouTube episodes per week, typically filmed in one day (occasionally spanning two).
  • Ensure timely release of three high-quality episodes each week, along with engaging social media cutdowns.
  • Contribute to episodic ideation and development, dedicating at least two days per week to creative planning with an algorithm-savvy mindset.
  • Lead 1–2 days of in-studio production weekly.
  • Oversee post-production workflows, approvals, and final delivery, ensuring each episode is fully optimized for YouTube.

Why Join Summit Family Law? We’re on a mission to inspire new ways of thinking for men going through divorce—and we believe visual storytelling is a key part of that transformation. You’ll work with a team that believes in growth, excellence, and helping people leave better than we found them.

Travel occasionally. Create daily. Inspire always.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in videography and filming techniques
  • Strong skills in video editing using Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and After Effects
  • Knowledge of post-production processes and video production workflows
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and photography
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a creative environment
  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
  • Training & Development
