Storeroom Assistant Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for the supervision of all storeroom personnel and maintaining all staffing levels according to company needs. Assist the site manager with all other duties as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Create and verify daily cycle counts.

2.Perform receiving/shipping activity audits.

3.Assist Operations Manager with any and all designated responsibilities.

4.Be responsible for safety including safe storage of materials, safe operation of the storeroom.

5.Ensure storeroom is properly staffed at all times.

6.Ensure all timecards are entered correctly.

7.Maintain all storeroom security.

8.Ensure all inventory issues are corrected timely.

9.All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1.Previous management skills

2.Ability to problem solve with little to no supervision

3.Ability to work under pressure

4.Good housekeeping skills, 5s training

5.Safety/Environmental knowledge, training OSHA 10 certification

6.Computer skills, SAP system training, email

7.Communicate clearly with all customers, vendors and coworkers

8.Customer service skills, dealing with difficult people calmly and effectively

9.Ability to work a rotating shift

10.Maintain fork lift license
