We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of our team based in North America. As CFO, you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy, driving profitable growth, and ensuring the company’s financial health. Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute the company’s long-term financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Drive key business metrics, financial modeling, and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.
- Financial Operations & Reporting:
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, treasury, FP&A, tax, and audit.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in Canada and the US
- Capital Management & Investor Relations:
- Manage capital allocation, fundraising, and debt/equity financing strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Serve as the key spokesperson to the investor community, providing financial guidance and updates.
- Business Partnering & Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Operations) to align financial goals with business initiatives.
- Provide data-driven financial insights and recommendations to the SLT and Board of Directors.
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting teams to achieve high performance and scalability.
- Risk Management & Compliance:
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks while ensuring appropriate controls and procedures.
- Oversee compliance with tax laws, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement financial systems and technology to improve efficiency and scalability.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or similar executive-level role in a SaaS or technology company.
- Proven experience with venture capital, private equity, or public company financing and reporting.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, and SaaS business models (MRR, ARR, LTV, CAC, etc.).
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing strategic vision with tactical execution.
- Experience with SaaS pricing strategies, subscription billing systems, and revenue recognition.
- Successful track record of leading companies through fundraising, mergers, or acquisitions.
- Familiarity with financial software tools (NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Salesforce, etc.).
