Our Mission
At Talkspace, we’re on a mission to make therapy accessible to all. We’re seeking a Military Partnerships Liaison (20 hours per week, contract role) to build and manage strategic relationships with military-focused organizations, driving awareness and utilization of Talkspace's mental health services within the military community. This includes increasing the number of TRICARE-insured users registering for Talkspace services and expanding outreach to key stakeholders in military health services.
This on-the-ground role is ideal for a high-energy, relationship-driven professional who thrives in grassroots outreach, advocacy, and local marketing. If you're passionate about mental health access and enjoy connecting with organizations and providers, we’d love to hear from you.
Location: California or Texas
Grassroots Marketing & Community Outreach
Conduct local market research to understand Military beneficiaries’ mental health needs
Build brand awareness through on-the-ground marketing and community engagement
Host and attend local events, health fairs, and provider meetings to promote Talkspace
Lead Generation & Partnerships
Develop a pipeline of partnerships with Military Health Systems providers, including:
TRICARE networks
Base and installation support services
Mental Health Clinics
Conduct 30+ outreach activities per month (calls, site visits, events)
Tracking & Strategy Refinement
Log outreach efforts in Talkspace’s CRM
Refine marketing strategies based on data-driven insights
Experience in grassroots marketing, community outreach, or advocacy
Strong relationship-building skills in healthcare, military communities, or insurance
Proven success in local event marketing, networking, and partnership development
Excellent communication and public speaking skills
Must be a U.S military veteran
Talkspace or other telehealth platform experience a major advantage
Make a real impact in increasing mental health access for Military members
Work independently while building community connections
