Your challenge:

As the Head of Product for our Expert Service, you’ll have the unique opportunity to transform a product that has found initial product-market fit into a major growth driver for Taxfix. While we’ve made tax filing simpler for millions of users with our intuitive self-filing solution, our next chapter focuses on democratizing access to professional tax advisors. With just a few uploads via our app or web platform, customers can entrust their taxes to certified professionals while staying informed throughout the process. In this entrepreneurial role, you will have holistic ownership of the product, working closely with commercial leadership, product teams, operational teams and tax advisors to shape and scale the service to become the market-leading solution in this space. This role requires a growth mindset and the ambition to dive into complex problems.

Your responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap, setting clear, measurable goals, creating business cases and taking full ownership of outcomes.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of user needs, behaviors, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, leveraging insights to identify areas for non-incremental impact and representing customer needs in strategic discussions.

  • Lead your cross-functional mission team to deliver impactful user features while overseeing the work of a product manager who focuses with his team on building and optimizing operational tools to ensure efficient and scalable backend processes

  • Build strong relationships and proactively communicate with stakeholders across Commercial leadership, Product Marketing, Operations and Tax Advisor Partners, driving alignment, collaboration and shared ownership of strategic initiatives

  • Lead a data-informed, experimentation-focused approach, facilitating continuous learning from user insights and performance metrics to improve the product. Refine the product roadmap based on new insights, prioritizing initiatives that deliver the highest value.

Your profile:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in driving business outcomes in high growth companies with 3+ years experience in digital product management incl. leading other product managers

  • Proven track record of launching and scaling successful digital products

  • Experience in owning strategy and execution in a highly cross-functional environment, gaining buy-in from stakeholders at all levels

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and can-do approach, taking ownership of problems independently and driving results and measurable business impact

  • Empathy and strong collaboration skills, deeply caring for user problems with an ability to understand perspectives and needs of team members and stakeholders

  • Plus: Experience in developing digital products with an operational service component
