Logistics & Shipping Manager for Apparel Industry

About Us:

A well-established apparel manufacturer specializing in private label production and distribution is looking for an experienced Logistics & Shipping Manager to oversee warehouse, logistics, and shipping operations.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse & Logistics Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
2. Shipping & Routing: Ensure timely and efficient shipment processing, including compliance with retailer routing guidelines.
3. Retailer Compliance: Manage logistics for major retailers, including Ross, TJX, Burlington, Walmart, and similar accounts.
4. Process Optimization: Improve operational workflows for receiving, warehousing, and shipping.
5. Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
6. Vendor Coordination: Work with carriers, freight companies, and 3PL providers to optimize shipping costs and timelines.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 5+ years in apparel logistics, warehouse management, and shipping.
2. Retail Compliance: Strong knowledge of retailer routing guides and compliance procedures for major chains (Ross, TJX, Burlington, Walmart, etc.).
3. Software Proficiency: Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), ERP systems, and shipping software.
4. Leadership Skills: Ability to manage warehouse teams and coordinate shipping operations efficiently.
5. Detail-Oriented: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
