KXTV – a TEGNA owned ABC affiliate in Sacramento, CA – is seeking a Digital Ad Operations Specialist to join our sales team. The Digital Ad Operations Specialist will oversee the creation, management, and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across OTT platforms, ABC10.com, and extended reach networks (online video, display and other assets). This role involves strategic planning, campaign execution, performance analysis, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure campaigns meet client objectives and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Managers to develop effective campaign strategies tailored to client goals.
- Set up, manage, and optimize digital campaigns across OTT platforms, ABC10.com, and extended networks.
- Ensure all campaign parameters (e.g., targeting, demographics, geographies) are accurately implemented before launch.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Monitor campaign performance regularly and recommend adjustments to improve key metrics such as CTR, conversions, or ROI.
- Troubleshoot issues related to audience targeting, creative assets, or delivery discrepancies to ensure campaigns meet performance standards.

Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze campaign data and provide actionable insights for optimization.
- Create detailed campaign recap reports highlighting performance metrics and recommendations for future strategies.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Multi-Market Digital Sales Manager on monthly recap reporting for client campaigns.

Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Product Account Managers and third-party vendors to review performance and explore additional marketing strategies.
- Participate in client meetings to discuss campaign progress and outcomes as needed.

Creative & Quality Assurance
- Oversee the final review of creative assets to ensure compliance with platform requirements and client directives.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on campaigns to verify accuracy in setup before going live.

Industry Knowledge & Training
- Stay updated on trends in OTT advertising and ad technology to enhance campaign strategies.
- Attend internal meetings, training sessions, and webinars to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
Experience & Technical Expertise
- Minimum of 3 years in digital media or ad operations roles.
- Proficiency in tools like Salesforce, Wide Orbit, Google Analytics, Monday.com, Smartsheets or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, audience segmentation, and campaign optimization techniques.

Analytical & Organizational Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

Adaptability & Problem-Solving
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Positive attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset for tackling challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range
$24$25.48 USD

Our 401(k) program offers full, part-time and temporary employees the opportunity to contribute 1% - 80% of their pay on a pre-tax basis to TEGNA’s 401(k). Contributions made up to the first 4% of pay are eligible for a 100% match from the company and are 100% vested from day one.

Regardless of participation in TEGNA medical plans, ALL employees and their eligible family members receive nine free virtual doctor’s appointments with a physician through Teladoc, and 12 free annual therapy sessions with a licensed clinician through Spring Health.

TEGNA offers a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) benefit as well as nine paid holidays per year.
