Job Title: Marketing Operations Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Marketing Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our marketing technology stack, implement and track cross-platform marketing campaigns, and ensure seamless data flow to inform business decisions. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Google Analytics, Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs), marketing automation tools, and customer engagement platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

-Marketing Technology Stack Management:

-Oversee and optimize the integration and utilization of marketing tools, including Google Analytics, MMP, and Customer Engagement Platform, among others.

-Ensure seamless data flow and integration between systems such as CDPs, MMPs, and automation tools to support accurate tracking and reporting.

Campaign Implementation & Tracking: 

-Plan, execute, and monitor multi-channel marketing campaigns across various digital platforms.

-Implement tracking mechanisms, including tagging, tracking links, and UTM parameters, to monitor campaign performance and user behavior.

Data Analysis & Insights:

-Analyze marketing performance data to derive actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.

-Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide visibility to stakeholders.

Collaboration & Training: 

-Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and analytics, to align strategies and ensure cohesive campaign execution.

-Provide training and support to marketing team members on best practices and effective use of marketing tools.

Process Improvement:

-Continuously assess and refine marketing processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.

-Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the marketing stack remains current and competitive.

Qualifications:

-Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a marketing operations or related role, preferably within a tech-driven or app-focused environment.

Technical Proficiency: 

-Expertise in Google Analytics, MMPs like Kochava or AppsFlyer, and customer engagement platforms like Iterable and Blaze.

-Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools and CDP platforms.

-Proficiency in campaign tracking methodologies, including UTM tagging, attribution models, and funnel analysis.

Analytical Skills:

-Strong data analysis capabilities with proficiency in tools such as Excel and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, ThoughtSpot).

-Ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies and communicate findings effectively.

Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. 

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly to various stakeholders. 

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field. Advanced certifications in relevant marketing tools are advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience in a mobile app-centric marketing environment.

-Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and campaign experimentation.

Salary: $120 - $130K

Our 401(k) program offers full, part-time and temporary employees the opportunity to contribute 1% - 80% of their pay on a pre-tax basis to TEGNA’s 401(k). Contributions made up to the first 4% of pay are eligible for a 100% match from the company and are 100% vested from day one.

Regardless of participation in TEGNA medical plans, ALL employees and their eligible family members receive nine free virtual doctor’s appointments with a physician through Teladoc, and 12 free annual therapy sessions with a licensed clinician through Spring Health.

TEGNA offers a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) benefit as well as nine paid holidays per year.
