This position is a first responder in severe weather conditions/emergencies which will be subject to work after hours, emergency call back hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and will participate in an on-call rotation schedule.

Stormwater Operations maintains over 1,000 miles of Storm drain pipe and approximately 300 miles of open channels, ensuring our citizens are safe from flooding.
An Equipment Operator job is available with the Transportation and Public Works/Stormwater Operations Division. Candidates selected for this position will work in the CCTV Program.
The City of Fort Worth CCTV program is responsible for approximately 1000 miles of drainage infrastructure. The ultimate goal is to generate a system-wide database to properly identify, prioritize, plan, manage, or renovate the City’s 1,000-plus miles of mapped stormwater underground assets.
