Influencer and Creative Partnerships Director

The Democratic National Committee is looking for a driven, forward-thinking social media expert with a keen interest in influencer and creator strategy. The Influencer and Creative Partnerships Director will oversee the DNC’s influencer program and define the most effective ways to engage with social media creators. The individual in this role will be responsible for significantly expanding the DNC’s social reach, fostering strong relationships with creators, and managing a team dedicated to creating an effective, innovative program.

• Identify influencers and publishers that the DNC should work with and build strong relationships with them.
• Establish opportunities for creators to collaborate with the DNC and create content with Democratic leaders. 
• Define the DNC’s influencer strategy and set ambitious growth goals.
• Build a best-in-class partnerships program that enables Democrats to reach voters across the country. 
• Manage creator events, such as panel discussions and junkets.
• Measure and report out program impact.
• Represent the DNC at industry events, prioritizing building lasting relationships with creators, organizations, and leaders in the space.

• 5+ years experience working in marketing, ideally with influencers and creators.
• Experience working in politics or on a political campaign is a nice to have, not a need to have.
• Expert knowledge of social platforms and a thorough awareness of successful creators.
• Leadership experience and the ability to manage a team.
• Experience creating high-performing social content, especially for TikTok and Instagram.
• An interest in politics and a commitment to staying on top of political news.
• Experience defining social media strategy, whether for a personal account, an organization, or event.
• Experience managing events such as panel discussions or conferences is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate respectfully and effectively with others.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations.
• Strong organizational skills.

The salary for the Influencer and Creative Partnerships Director position is $92,000 on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, exempt position, that may require work on weekends.
