This role will support the Dot communications team across our global group overseeing day to day tasks including copywriting, design, social media, streamlining processes, events and coordination of various projects. The role will report to Corporate Communications Director of The Dot Group and will be based in Dubai.
· Coordinate and develop communication initiatives including content creation, social media management, internal employee communication and overall reporting and design support.
· Effective communications when drafting a message, creating engaging visuals such as banners, video, social media posts and understanding business priorities aligning to our Group’s narrative.
· Brand awareness across the group to ensure the Dot’s businesses continue to evolve and is represented consistently across the group.
· Assist the director of Communications implement strategic communication plans and reporting, including internal and external communications.
· Copywriting across all platforms with compelling content for blog posts, social media, website and internal communications.
· Design visually engaging templates and marketing materials using design software.
· Assist with planning and executing external events including managing Dot merchandise.
· Media monitoring and weekly reporting across our sector.
· Collaborate across the group working as one comms team.
· Keep abreast of industry trends, news, and best practices in communications and public affairs.
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a communications role.
· Create communications that inform and inspire while simplifying complex messages.
· Skilled at telling stories across multiple channels in a way that’s integrated yet optimised for every touchpoint.
· Can adapt and react across a global team and multiple time zones.
· An eye for brand and design.
· Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences and channels.
· High level of integrity, dependability, and confidentiality.
· Exposure to senior executives in previous roles.
· Incredible writing and editing skills across formats.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools and platforms, such as PR software, social media management tools, and content management systems.
· Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
· Proven experience of using data to measure performance against targets.
· Ability to manage upwards and meet tight deadlines when required across all businesses within the group structure.
· Experience in working with a global or tech/hospitality/investment organisation is preferred.
