Merchandising Manager

The Rounds is seeking a Merchandising Manager to own the performance, strategy, and growth of a subset of our categories. You will drive growth by managing vendor relationships, expanding product & vendor offerings, negotiating deals, setting strategy, and enhancing Member experience in our app. You will also be responsible for owning a few key projects from the start to drive strategic growth. You'll be joining at a pivotal time, with significant opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the company’s growth.

The Rounds has a strong in-person office culture. We believe our best work happens when we’re in the same space together. This role is on site in our Brooklyn, NY office.

• Lead the innovation pipeline for your categories by identifying new products and offboarding others in partnership with Operations
• Stay informed on category trends to identify growth opportunities and maintain a competitive product assortment
• Negotiate vendor costs, set retail pricing strategies, and plan regular promotions to increase sales and profitability
• Manage site merchandising to optimize product placement and partner with marketing to develop category-specific strategies
• Use data-driven insights to analyze category performance and make informed decisions that drive growth and profitability

• An experienced merchandising manager with 2+ years in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Adaptable to shifting priorities, self-motivated, and capable of driving projects from concept to execution
• An excellent communicator with a talent for building relationships across teams and working collaboratively
• Proficient in data-driven decision-making, with strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting, and a focus on driving results
• Able to learn and utilize new tools
• Passionate about sustainability, with a detail-oriented mindset and eagerness to tackle big challenges

• Experience with environmentally sustainable packaging
• Familiarity with JSON and other data interchange formats
