What You’ll Do
As our Copywriter, you’ll turn words into revenue. You’ll craft copy that builds trust, tells stories, and drives results across email, social media, landing pages, and ads. Think of it as the ultimate challenge for your inner word nerd.
Here’s a day in your life with us:
Email Mastery
- Write high-converting email campaigns, conversational “raise-your-hand” emails, and engaging long-form newsletters.
- Craft emails that drive clicks, spark conversations, and provide actual value. (No spammy stuff here.)
- Develop and optimize automated email sequences that nurture leads and move them through the funnel.
Campaign Strategy
- Mimic Ryan Deiss's voice so well people won’t even know it’s you.
- Support marketing efforts for our annual event, Get Scalable Live, driving ticket sales and engagement.
- Collaborate with the Programs Team to keep members excited with timely, relevant communications.
Optimization Focus
- Test, analyze, and refine copy based on performance metrics like open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Conduct research to understand audience needs, market trends, and competitor positioning.
- Stay up-to-date on copywriting best practices and marketing trends (because the greats never stop learning).
Other Content Needs
- Assist with video scripts, press releases, and ad hoc marketing content to support our goals.
What You Bring
- At least 5 years of copywriting experience, ideally with a focus on direct response.
- You know how to use narrative to connect, persuade, and drive action.
- You understand how to analyze performance metrics (like open rates, click-through rates, and conversions) and optimize your copy accordingly.
- You can capture a brand’s voice like a pro and will binge Ryan Deiss’s content until you can write like him in your sleep.
- You can sprinkle in keywords without making the copy sound robotic. (Because copy should feel human.)
- Deadlines are your thing, and chaos is not.
- You can write high-energy ad copy one day and thoughtful, story-driven emails the next.
- You thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
- You’re always seeking to improve your skills and try new approaches (because stagnation is the enemy of greatness).
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Google Analytics, and other marketing tools is a bonus.
