As a Testing Technician on ThinkCyte’s Manufacturing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our flow cytometers and related medical devices. Your responsibilities will include conducting production tests, integrating systems, and performing technical assessments to verify that all products meet stringent quality standards. Additionally, you will troubleshoot issues, adhere to production timelines, and collaborate with team members to optimize efficiency and enhance product quality.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct production tests on assembled flow cytometers to verify functionality and quality standards.
- Assemble and integrate systems while handling electronic, mechanical, optical, fluidic, and electromechanical components.
- Diagnose and resolve system and subassembly issues by performing in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Ensure timely production of high-quality products, reviewing test data from faulty units to identify failure sources.
- Carry out final testing and inspections to confirm compliance with performance standards and specifications.
- Complete necessary documentation to finalize the Device History Record (DHR).
- Provide insights on testing procedures, production processes, and design improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet department objectives and maintain strong professional relationships.
Desired Qualifications- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and respond to inquiries effectively.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a high-tech manufacturing setting.
- Background in medical device manufacturing is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting laser-based optical systems, fluidic systems, and both digital and analog circuits.
- Strong mechanical skills, including dexterity and precise hand-eye coordination.
- Proficient in using digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and other standard testing equipment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems, including software installation and configuration.
$35 - $45 an hour
In addition to base salary -
